We are a small company by design, we believe our size helps us to offer very honest prices and close personal communication with our customers. Larger companies have many overhead costs, and those costs are passed along to their customers.

At DT STUDIOS we take our portraiture very seriously.
We believe a portrait should be a work of art, and therefore should present the subject in the most professional and artistic manner. We know how important your portraits are, so we take extra time and effort to do them right.

We have an extremely high standard for our work.
Our portraits are not only an important reflection of the subject, it is also a direct reflection of our studio and our name. Your personal satisfaction is guaranteed and our goal and promise is that your portraits from DT Studios will be a cherished keepsake for a lifetime.

Here's how easy it works:
1. Call: (315) 452-1456 to schedule a date and time for your portrait session.
2. Show up: at our studio with the clothes you would like to be photographed in, and a $100 down payment for your photo session & subsequent print order (no credit cards please).
3. Say Cheese: Please allow approx. 30 minutes per outfit.
4. Pick your favorites: Within 24 hours or less, your portraits will be available for viewing online.
5. Place your order: Call or e-mail us with your selections. Once your order has been placed, your photos will be edited, processed and printed. Then we ship them directly to you along with an invoice for the balance of your order.

Our Pricing:
We publish our complete price list and package descriptions online for you to see and compare (please beware of those who don't). We have absolutely no hidden costs or surprise fees. Everything here at DT Studios is up-front & honest, the way it should be.

1. Portrait Session Fee:
Session fees are included within most package prices, each package allows for one or more outfit sessions at no additional cost. Please see the package details for more information (Portrait Info. package).
• One outfit -$20.00
• Each additional outfit - $10.00
• "On Location" fees to be determined on an individual
basis. Generally beginning at $50.00.

2. Packages, Prints and Yearbook Photos:
Prints: Can be purchased in packages or individually, or you can create your own package and we will automatically apply your package discount. Package prices start at $99. Please see the package details for more information (Portrait Info. package).
Yearbook photos: Will be submitted directly to the school for you. Most schools send home a specification sheet with information for you and your photographer. If you can find it, please bring your schools yearbook specifications sheet to your photo session.

This is what you get:
1. A Professional, Private and Relaxed Portrait Session: We operate out of our home studio in a very relaxed atmosphere. There are no lines or rushed sessions. All of our senior sessions conclude with a short outdoor visit for a few poses in a natural environment. You will be photographed by award winning and professional photographer David Tankersley and given the individual attention and respect you deserve as a customer and friend of DT Studios.
2. State of the Art Photography Equipment: We use the best equipment in the industry. No expense has been spared with our cameras, lenses and lighting equipment. Our customers deserve the highest quality we can possibly provide.
3. Professional Photo Editing: All customer selected images undergo a detailed editing process. First, the image is cropped (for the best composition) and colors enhanced. Next, we remove all blemishes, stray hair and other undesirables (fuzz balls, pet hair etc.). We then gently soften and enhance the skin tones using special editing techniques that will present you to your family and friends in the best possible way. Please see our EDITING EXAMPLES below
4. Highest Quality, Award Winning Lab work: We use one of the best, high quality portrait processing labs in the Northeast USA to print your portraits.
5. A Selection of Photo Presentation Products: Some of our customers have requested the option of framing, albums or folios. If you would like your prints framed or presented in a special way, we now have a nice selection of options available to you.
6. Superior Quality at Very Reasonable Prices: Because of our low overhead we are able to offer very reasonable prices for our customers. We guarantee you will not find this level of quality photography at a better price anywhere.
7. Wonderful Portraits: We are determined to capture an image of you. Your eyes, your face, your personality. We want a portrait of you, as you are at this special time of your life. We use simple, un distracting backgrounds which are chosen to bring out your skin tones and compliment your clothing. Any props will be used sparingly, in a way that will not draw attention away from the subject.
8. Complete Satisfaction: As a client and friend of DT Studios, our promise to you is this; "We will do everything within our power to make certain you are ultimately 100% satisfied with your portraits and your entire experience with DT Studios Photography." If you're not satisfied, we're not satisfied.
9. No Sales tactics or pressure: We don't use the "hard sell" approach like other studios. No paying for products you didn't want or need. You get exactly what you want, nothing more and nothing less.

At DT Studios All customer selected images undergo a detailed editing process. We are imaging specialists and know how to get the most from your portraits. Capturing your image on camera is just the beginning of our portraiture process. 1.) First the image is cropped and straightened to get the very best composition. 2.) Then we optimize and enhance the color making sure your skin tones are perfect. 3.) Next we remove all blemishes, stray hair and other undesirable items. 4.) We then soften and enhance the skin using a special editing technique that will present you in the best possible way. 5.) The final steps involve whitening of the teeth, looking for areas that should be lighter or darker in the image, fixing those and any other areas that could possibly distract from your perfect portrait.
